Lots of people dream of inventing something and making a billion dollars. For Nick Woodman, that literally happened. Traveling to Indonesia and Australia with prototype straps for surfers to attach waterproof cameras to their wrists, the idea of creating his own waterproof camera hadn't entered his head yet. Living out of his VW Camper van, Woodman Labs was created. In 2003 the first GoPro was produced, the GP Hero. The GP Hero was made for $3 and sold for about $30 and was sold to surf shops all around North America, Nick even appeared on the shopping network QVC. Now GoPro is profiting over $60,000,000 per year. Got an idea? go for it.
