Ordering Information


How to Order

Ordering Online is Easy.


Begin browsing the site by clicking on any of the departments in the horizontal navigation bar.


You will be linked to a page that displays the brands available.


By clicking on the product listed you will be linked to the product detail pages where you can choose from a selection of sizes, colors and styles.


Use the search feature by entering brands, board length or key words to locate the specific products you are seeking.

Using the Shopping Cart

The shopping cart is located on the top right hand corner of your browser.


To put an item in your cart click the “Add To Cart” button next to the product you would like to purchase. You will now see the item selected appear in the shopping cart.


From the “Shopping Cart” you can now edit quantities.

Checking Out

When you are finished shopping, double check the items in your cart and select your shipping option. Orders over a selected dollar amount qualify for Free Shipping (Only applies purchases shipped within Canada), and others will be determined by location to be shipped too, and size of packaging. For ground shipping please allow 7-10 days delivery.


When you select one of these options you will automatically proceed to the next step in the “check out” process.


Once you submit your order, you will receive an approval message confirming your order (please print and store for your records). You will also receive a confirmation email.


You can ensure your order was placed by checking your order status using the “Track Order” form online.

We also provide a safe and convenient online shopping experience. That means we safeguard the integrity of our customers’ credit card information.

In-transit web data is secured using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 3.0 encryption. What you see is a “secure” icon that appears on the bottom of your browser.

We have Two options available to make ordering easy:


Online

Enter your order through our SECURE online store. It’s quick, easy and 100% secure. Your order will be processed immediately and usually shipped within 24hrs.


Phone

Phone your order into us at 1.250.423.2669 and we will be happy to help you.


Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Debit/Credit.


When using your credit card, keep in mind that your shipping address must be the same as the credit card mailing address; otherwise the transaction will not be approved.


For alternate shipping methods and international orders, please contact a sales representative for shipping and billing information.


Using a Coupon (If Applicable)

In order to use an existing coupon, simply enter the code in the Coupon field when requested and your pricing will be adjusted during Check out.

(NOTE: Coupons are entered without spaces between numbers or letters.)


Buying a Gift Certificate

To order a gift certificate directly from Commit Snow and Skate, please call us at 1.250.423.2669 or order them online today!


Redeeming Gift Certificates

Commit Snow and Skate Gift Certificates can be redeemed at our retail location, via phone orders or through our website.

Backorders

Commit Snow and Skate does not Back Order Products. If a product is unavailable please call us at 1.250.423.2669 and speak with a representative to find out if we are able to acquire the item for you via our distributors.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

The only thing we hate more that an unhappy customer is losing one. We want you to be stoked on your buying experience with us. If for some reason you are not 100% satisfied with the products you receive from us, we want to know. We will do our best to rectify things to your satisfaction.


When I enter my information during checkout, is it secure?


We use the Secure Socket Layer protocol to protect the security of your online order information. SSL technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than The House.


When I register, will I be receiving Commit Snow and Skate promotional emails?


Yes, you will automatically be entered into our promotions mailing list. To be removed from either our e-mail or catalog list please email Commit Snow and Skate at orders@commitsnowandskate.ca or call us at 1.250.423.2669.

Shipping Policy

Free Delivery is only available for orders over $50 CAD being shipped within Canada.  All Clearance Items are FINAL SALE.


Orders made at www.commitsnowandskate.ca will ship within two to five business days from when the order was placed. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, you can choose a faster shipping method or call us at 1.250.423.2669 to speak with a customer service representative and make alternative shipping arrangements.


Orders with Free Delivery are shipped Canada Post Ground Delivery Service and generally arrive within 5-10 days after your order was placed. You will be emailed your tracking number and estimated delivery date when your order ships. Orders are shipped Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm MST.

Tracking Numbers

A Tracking Number will be emailed to you once your has been shipped. To track your package, please visit www.canadapost.ca  and enter the tracking number that was emailed to you. Once your order is shipped, Canada Post will do everything they can to deliver it to you on time. In the event of a delayed delivery, you may contact Canada Post directly via www.candapost.ca/support or (1.800.267.1177) or call us at 1.250.423.2669 and we will work with you and Canada Post to expedite the delivery of your package.


Signing For Delivery

All deliveries MUST be signed for if shipped outside of Canada Post. Otherwise Commit Snow and Skate cannot take responsibility for delivery.


P.O. Boxes


All orders being delivered to a P.O. Box will be shipped via Canada Post.  Because there is no signature option available for deliveries to a P.O. Box, Commit Snow and Skate cannot take responsibility for delivery.

Outside North America

Shipping costs for items shipped outside North America are estimated at checkout and may require additional shipping fees depending on the shipping address.


FREE Shipping does not apply to orders under $50 or being Delivered outside of Canada.


If you are ordering from overseas, please submit your order via the website. Commit Snow and Skate will then calculate the exact shipping costs based on your address and we will email you if there are any additional shipping costs.  If you have any questions concerning shipping internationally, you can email us and a Customer Service Representative will be glad to assist you.

Customs/Brokerage Charges

All shipments leave from our storefront in Fernie Bc, Canada. Shipments outside Canada may be subject to delays at Customs and Customs and/or Brokerage fees when delivered. The customer is responsible for any and all Customs and Brokerage Fees.  In the event that the Customs and Brokerage Fees are NOT paid for by the customer, the package will be considered abandoned and the customer will forfeit any possibility of a refund.

Oversize Delivery Surcharges

Certain items are oversize or overweight and incur additional shipping charges. You will be contacted by one of our Customer Service Representatives and notified of any additional shipping costs before your order is processed. Should the additional cost of shipping prove prohibitive, you may cancel your order without penalty (we will not bill your credit card until you have accepted the shipping costs).

Refunds and Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase from our online store, you may return the unused product within 7 days of the purchase date for a full refund, 30 days for a store credit . After 30 days a product can no longer be returned unless covered by an extended warranty via the manufacturer. If you ordered the incorrect size, you may return the unused product and request a replacement size.  The customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless the product is defective or if there was an error processing your order. Prior to returning an item, please call 1.250.423.2669 weekdays from 9am to 5pm MST to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number. Without an RA, Commit Snow and Skate cannot accept your returned product.


With the exception of shipping errors or a defective product, Commit Snow and Skate does not issue credit or refunds for shipping charges. In the event of any order with Free Shipping, returned items will be refunded minus the shipping charges incurred by Commit Snow and Skate. To be returned, products must be unused, with original packaging and tags.


No Refunds or Exchanges will be made on Clearance Items unless the product is covered under an independant warranty or an error occurred while processing your order.


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Product has obvious signs of use

  • A Product that has been opened.

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery


Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@commitsnowandskate.ca and send your item to: 462A 2nd Ave, PO Box 1891, Fernie, British Columbia, CA, V0B1M0.


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.


Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Rush Delivery

Customers can request rush delivery at an additional cost at the time of your order. Depending on where you live there will be several shipping options presented to you on Checkout.

Refused Shipments

All shipments refused by the buyer for delivery will be charged a 30% restocking charge as well as any extra incurred shipping charges.

Exclusive Products for Canadian Customers

Due to contract agreements with many of our Manufacturers, many products online are Only Available for shipping to Canadian Addresses.

Warranty

All products sold on our site are covered by the manufacturer warranty, usually a 90 day guarantee. Some companies offer longer or even lifetime warranties. If you have questions concerning the warranty on an item you wish to purchase please call us toll free at 1.250.423.2669 or email orders@commitsnowandskate.ca


Commit Snow and Skate does not independently warranty any of our products except for Commit branded products and clothing. All warranty claims are handled by our Warranty Department. Warranties are approved by the Manufacturer themselves and not by Commit Snow and Skate. Additional questions concerning the processing of your claim can be directed to orders@commitsnowandskate.ca or by calling us at 1.250.423.2669.


To start the Warranty Claim Process:

  • Call us

    • Call our customer service department at 1.250.423.2669 and describe the problem. Verify that the item is still under warranty.

  • Acquire an RA

    • During discussion with a customer service representative you will be issued and RA (Return Authorization) via email which must be included with your return item.

  • Pack it

    • Place the RA form and merchandise into a box for shipping.

  • Mail

    • Return the box to us via Canada Post.
